7 Lessons I Learned in 2007

I wanted to take some time to look back on this year and truly reflect on what I learned and remind myself of what I felt was important. I am sure that most of you will find things on this list as "well duh" moments, but it helps to put things in perspective sometimes. Hopefully in the future I (or you) will look at this list and see that something was gained from 2007. If you have a lesson learned of your own, feel free to add a comment below. No explanations needed.

7 Lessons Learned in 2007.

  1. As an adult you should stay out of children's arguments. They have to figure it out for themselves.
  2. If you love what you do, you may still not be good at it. Focus on what you're good at.
  3. Being a workaholic has its rewards, but so does being a husband and a father. It's important to find a balance with all three.
  4. Pain is something to endure, misery is something you can change.
  5. It's okay to have faith.
  6. Everyone should be allowed to give and receive hugs
  7. Live for someone else.

Here's to 2008! I truly hope you all have a great year!
